We use Microsoft Office 365 to store emails you send to us and other account details. Microsoft Online Services‎ stores our data in Europe.

We have set out specific retention periods where possible. Where that has not been possible, we have set out the criteria we use to determine the retention period.

Retention periods

Order information: When you place an order for goods and services, we retain that information for seven years following the end of the financial year in which you placed your order, in accordance with our legal obligation to keep records for tax purposes.

Correspondence and enquiries: If you contact our support via email or via the contact forms on our website, the correspondence will be stored in our Microsoft 365 tenant. We will not assign a specific retention period to emails automatically, since we may have to refer to them to provide support in the future.

Newsletter: we retain the information you used to sign up for our e-newsletter for as long as you remain subscribed or if we decide to cancel our e-newsletter service, whichever occurs first.

Criteria for determining retention periods

In any other circumstances, we will retain your information for no longer than necessary, considering the following:

  • the purposes and use of your information both now and in the future (such as whether it is necessary to continue to store that information in order to continue to perform our obligations under a contract with you or to contact you in the future)

Email newsletter

If you choose to join our mailing list, the email address that you submit to us will be forwarded to MailChimp who provide us with email marketing services. The email address that you submit will not be stored within this website’s own database. Your email address will remain within MailChimp’s database for as long as we continue to use MailChimp’s services for email marketing or until you specifically request removal from the list. You can do this by unsubscribing using the unsubscribe links contained in each email newsletters that we send to you or by requesting removal via email.
